Euro Trip: Overview

We’re back from our big trip! This post is a highlight reel of what we did. I’ll be going into depth in the coming weeks about the specific places we visited and the lessons I learned. Once I get my rolls of film back, I’ll begin scanning them in! The trip was so fast that I have barely had time to cull my phone images so I’m working on doing that now. All the images here are straight from the phone without any editing.

My biggest takeaway from this trip is that the kindness of humanity is vast. On the whole, we want to work for a better future and that the solutions to our problems are best achieved when we’re open-hearted, open-minded. We want to make sure our needs our met and we can do that as a community to ensure a future that helps all people have a seat at the table, where we respect each other, the planet, and we address the bleeding wounds of the past. On our trip, we were met with such kindness, thoughtfulness, incredible beauty and humanity expressed over thousands of years through art and form, our human heritage. I cannot wait to share the most profound experiences with you.
