Architects cannot teach nature anything.
-Mark Twain
I’m a student of my environment and class is in session.
From cities to landscapes to nature, I am in love with the world around me. Life is full of sorrow and my attempt to capture beauty is not formed from a desire to run from pain, but rather to combat pain with a reminder of hope.
My hope is that the focus on beauty draws me to fight for equity, peace, and provision. It’s a reminder that not all is lost and that we must continue to fight for a more just world.
