Lee Savino Site Redesign
The Project
Lee Savino is an adult dark romance author with nearly 90 books over 18 different series. We took her site from a basic site with about 7 pages and very little information to a fully designed site with over 100 pages of content.
My Role:
• designed the entire site (both site styles and organization)
• built it in SquareSpace
• designed printable book list
• took most of the photographs for the site
The Old Site
Below is an example of the old site design. Due to an archiving error on the part of WordPress, we lost the old home page design. But essentially, the site was simple with all her books listed on the home page.
Some issues:
• Unclear navigation (Home and LeeSavino.com navigated to different pages)
• Lack of updated content
• Less robust experiences for international readers
• Dated design styles (especially with hyperlinks)
